About

Daily, equal‑weight stock strategy that goes defensive when the S&P 500 is weak and goes aggressive when it’s strong, choosing recent winners within each group using a 14‑day momentum score (RSI).
NutHow it works
Each day it checks the S&P 500 (SPY) versus its 200‑day average. - If SPY is below it: buy 7 steadier stocks (utilities/healthcare/staples) showing the strongest recent gains. - If SPY is above it: buy 10 faster‑moving stocks (tech/clean energy, etc.) with the strongest recent gains. “Strongest recent gains” is measured by a 14‑day RSI score (0–100) that counts how many up vs. down days you’ve had lately; higher = stronger. Money is split equally across the picks and refreshed daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Regime-switching momentum strategy that defends when SPY weak and targets momentum leaders when SPY strong, with daily rebalancing for diversification. Note: out-of-sample shows negative alpha and larger drawdowns vs the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
