About
A fast-moving market-timing strategy that mostly chases tech when conditions are healthy, but shifts into hedges, gold, volatility, or steadier stocks when markets look stressed.
This strategy checks the market every day and asks: is the market strong, weak, overheated, or panicky? It mainly tries to own Nasdaq/tech funds when conditions look good, but it can switch to hedges like short-market funds, volatility, gold, or a basket of steadier stocks when warning signs appear.
It uses simple gauges of recent market speed and trend to decide.
Dynamic Nasdaq tilt with built-in hedges (gold, VIXY, inverse ETFs) to diversify and potentially dampen risk versus the S&P. Lower beta (0.71) and disciplined risk controls; 813 days of OOS testing, Calmar ~0.60.
