About

Aggressive, tactical switcher using “hot/cold” readings and trends to rotate among 3x tech/semis, inverse hedges/VIX, and 3x long/short Treasuries. Designed to catch fast swings; expect big volatility.
NutHow it works
It’s a fast‑moving, rule‑based switcher. It first checks market “temperature”: stocks (SPY), volatility (VIX), bonds (TLT vs IEF/BIL), and commodities (DBC) using simple gauges like RSI (0–100 heat meter: >70=hot, <30=cold) and trends. When calm/uptrending, it rides the strongest 3x tech/semis funds (TQQQ, SOXL, SPXL). If overheated or dropping, it flips to inverse or VIX (SQQQ, SOXS, UVXY). If rates fall it buys 3x long Treasuries (TMF); if they rise it buys 3x short Treasuries (TMV). It usually holds one ETF at a time.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~38% return vs ~23% for the S&P 500; Calmar ~0.88, Sharpe ~0.82. Expect higher drawdowns (~43%), but aggressive rotations into tech/semis, hedges, and Treasuries aim for upside beyond the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
