About

A daily, rules‑driven portfolio that flips between offense (leveraged tech/stock ETFs) and defense (Treasuries, cash, gold, dollar, utilities, or hedges) using trend, volatility, and rates. It also buys sharp dips and cuts risk when fear spikes.
NutHow it works
Each day it runs a stoplight: fear (volatility), trend, and interest‑rates. If green, it goes on offense with turbo stock funds (TQQQ, UPRO, TECL/SOXL). If red, it moves to defense: Treasuries/cash (SHY/SHV/BIL), gold (GLD), dollar (UUP), utilities (XLU), or hedges (PSQ/SQQQ/UVXY). RSI is a 0–100 “heat” gauge: low = sold off (buy dips), high = overheated (trim/hedge).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this dynamic, rules-based strategy targets ~30.4% annualized return vs SPY's ~18.2%, with a near-par Sharpe (~1.08). It seeks higher compounding via risk-on/risk-off, trend, and volatility signals, but carries larger drawdowns (~28.7% vs 18.8%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
