A symphony is an automated trading strategy — Learn more about symphonies here

About

A daily, rules-based swing strategy. In uptrends it rides strong tech/semis with 3x ETFs; when markets overheat or drop, it switches to hedges or cash-like bonds. It can also rotate across regions. Simple “speedometer” signals (RSI, trends) aim to limit big losses.
NutHow it works
Each day it asks: is the market healthy or risky? It checks long-term trend (price vs 200–360‑day averages) and a quick stocks‑vs‑bonds “strength” test. If healthy, it rides leaders with 3x tech/semis (TQQQ, TECL, SOXL, SPXL). If overheated or falling, it flips to hedges (SQQQ, SOXS, UVXY) or T‑Bills/short bonds (BIL, SHY). It can also rotate to Europe, China or EM if they look safer.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~62% annualized return vs 19% for SPY; Sharpe ~1.29 vs 0.97; Calmar ~1.80. Dynamic hedging and global rotation deliver superior risk-adjusted growth, with higher upside and adaptive risk controls relative to the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
