About

A fast, rules‑based swing strategy that rotates daily among leveraged stock funds (often tech/semis), bonds, cash, and volatility. It buys rebounds when markets are cold and hedges or shorts when they’re hot or falling. High risk; built for quick switches.
NutHow it works
Each day it checks: are stocks strong or weak vs bonds, and are prices “hot” or “cold”? If healthy or very oversold, it buys high‑octane stock funds (often 3x tech/semis like TQQQ/TECL/SOXL) to catch quick rebounds. If overheated or breaking down, it flips to hedges: inverse stock funds, long/short Treasuries (TMF/TMV), cash‑like T‑bills (BIL), or volatility (UVXY). RSI is a speedometer for price moves; moving averages flag the bigger trend.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this rule-based strategy shows stronger risk-adjusted performance vs the S&P: Sharpe ~1.10 vs 0.99; Calmar ~1.33; annualized return ~46.7% vs ~18.6%, aided by daily rotations and hedges for bigger upside with disciplined risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
