About

A daily, tactical bet on U.S. financials using 3x ETFs. Usually long (FAS), flips to short (FAZ) only at extreme moves. If short-term drops look steep, it hides in T‑Bills (BIL). High risk due to leverage and frequent trading.
NutHow it works
It trades two 3x financial-sector funds: FAS (goes up when bank/financial stocks rise) and FAZ (goes up when they fall). First, if either just dropped hard over 2 days, it parks in BIL (T‑Bills). If things look calm, it mostly holds FAS. It flips to FAZ only when FAS looks extremely “hot” (RSI>80; RSI is a 0–100 score of recent speed). If FAZ is “hot,” it prefers FAS. Rebalanced daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
A tactical, risk-managed bet on US financials via 3x ETFs. Out-of-sample return ~11.3%, Sharpe ~0.48, beta ~0.83, with a cash hedge in turbulence. Diversifies core exposure and adds a distinct risk/return profile beside the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
