About

Own Apple when the market trend is up. If not, buy 3× Nasdaq (TQQQ) on deep tech selloffs; else, in short‑term tech downtrends hold either 3× inverse Nasdaq (SQQQ) or short‑term bonds (BSV), whichever is stronger. Rebalanced daily.
NutHow it works
When the broad U.S. market (SPY) is in an uptrend—its recent 21‑day average price is above its 210‑day average—the strategy owns Apple (AAPL). If not: if the tech index (QQQ) is very oversold (RSI, a 0–100 gauge of recent weakness, is <30), it buys 3× QQQ (TQQQ; ~triple the daily move). Otherwise, if QQQ is below its 20‑day average, it picks either 3× inverse QQQ (SQQQ) or short‑term bonds (BSV), whichever looks stronger short‑term. If QQQ isn’t weak, it goes back to Apple.
CheckmarkValue prop
Tech-driven, regime-based strategy stays in AAPL in up markets and uses 3x QQQ bets or hedges in dips. Out-of-sample results show positive alpha and upside during tech rebounds, offering diversification versus the S&P—with higher drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
