About
Mostly owns a 1.5× Apple fund when the S&P 500 is in an uptrend. In weak markets it either buys 3× Nasdaq on oversold bounces, switches to 3× short Nasdaq, or parks in short‑term bonds. High leverage and tech concentration.
SPY = S&P 500; QQQ = Nasdaq‑100 (tech). AAPU targets 1.5× Apple’s daily move. TQQQ is 3× long QQQ; SQQQ is 3× short QQQ; BSV = short‑term bonds.
If SPY’s 21‑day average price > its 210‑day average (uptrend), hold AAPU. Otherwise: if QQQ’s 10‑day RSI < 30 (very oversold), buy TQQQ; else if QQQ is below its 20‑day average, own whichever has the higher 10‑day RSI: SQQQ or BSV; else hold AAPU. (RSI gauges recent speed of gains/losses, 0–100.)
Out-of-sample annualized return: 26.26% vs S&P 22.05%. A regime-driven, tech-tilt strategy that bets on Apple in uptrends and uses Nasdaq hedges/bonds on dips. Higher upside potential with disciplined risk controls—though downturn drawdowns can be larger.
