About
A tech-heavy strategy that goes all-in on leveraged Nasdaq when conditions look calm, reduces risk when markets get jumpy, and moves to Treasury bills when both volatility is high and trend weakens.
This strategy usually owns TQQQ, a very aggressive fund that aims to magnify the daily moves of the Nasdaq-100. Every day it checks two things over the last 20 trading days: how wild TQQQ's price swings have been, and whether its recent trend is still positive.
If swings are normal, it stays 100% in TQQQ. If swings get too large but the trend is still up, it reduces risk by splitting money between TQQQ and QQQ. If swings are large and the trend is no longer up, it moves into BIL, a very short-term Treasury-bill fund.
Out-of-sample edge: annualized return ~27.8% vs S&P ~22.9%, Calmar ~1.19. Uses volatility and trend signals to stay leveraged in calm markets, trim risk in chop, and park in Treasuries when needed—delivering higher upside with disciplined risk.
