About

A tactical swing strategy for high‑beta tech/semis. It buys 3x bull funds after sharp dips, flips to 3x inverse/volatility when markets look overheated or fearful, and sits in T‑Bills otherwise. Very aggressive, timing‑heavy, and high risk.
NutHow it works
It’s a rulebook for fast swings in tech. It watches simple “heat” gauges (recent loss/gain, a 0–100 “hot/cold” score called RSI, and short‑term volatility). If tech looks beaten down, it buys small slices of 3x tech/semis. If it looks too hot or fear spikes, it buys inverse funds. If signals look messy, it parks in T‑Bills. It scales in using several short lookbacks and backs off when risk jumps.
CheckmarkValue prop
Tech‑tilted, regime‑switching strategy with superior downside control and risk‑adjusted returns. OOS max drawdown ~2.18% vs SPY ~5.07%, Calmar ~5.54, and strong Sharpe—delivering resilience and steadier gains than the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
