About

Daily, it reads risk by comparing European banks (EUFN) to U.S. insurers (KIE). It then layers simple overbought/oversold checks to add hedges or buy risk, and uses bond, oil, and natural‑gas rules plus an inflation filter to rotate between growth and commodities.
NutHow it works
Each day it first asks: are European banks (EUFN) beating U.S. insurers (KIE)? If yes, it’s risk‑on; if not, risk‑off. Then it uses simple “heat” checks (RSI = a score of how overheated/oversold prices are) on stocks and credit. When hot, it hedges with volatility funds and long Treasuries/gold; when calm or cheap, it owns growth/energy/financials. Separate oil/nat‑gas rules and a bond/inflation filter steer it toward commodities or growth as conditions change.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample results suggest this strategy delivers higher risk-adjusted returns than the S&P 500, with stronger downside protection and macro-driven rotations across bonds, commodities, and equities.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
