About

Daily, rules-based rotation. In uptrends it rides Nasdaq/S&P unless moves get extreme, then shifts to a USD+gold hedge or short bursts of volatility exposure. In downtrends it mostly stays in that hedge, with occasional dip buys.
NutHow it works
First it checks if the S&P 500 is in a long‑term uptrend (price above its 200‑day average). In uptrends it mostly holds the Nasdaq or S&P 500, picking the one that looks less “stretched” using a hot/cold score (RSI, 0–100; >~79 hot, <~31 cold). After sharp drops or if things get too hot, it parks in a USD+gold mix (UUP/GLD) or briefly buys volatility (UVXY). In downtrends it mostly holds that USD+gold mix, with rare dip buys. Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers higher risk-adjusted returns than the S&P: ~55% annualized vs ~22%; Sharpe 1.60 vs 1.31; Calmar 1.71. It uses regime-driven equity tilts with USD/gold and volatility hedges to protect in turbulence (drawdowns may be larger).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
