- Every day, it checks if semiconductors (the SMH ETF) are trending up. It does this with a simple “recent strength” score (RSI): above 50 = uptrend, below 50 = weak. - If semiconductors look strong (RSI > 50): it picks the 3 stocks from a fixed AI-related list that have risen the most recently and splits the money evenly across them. - If semiconductors look weak (RSI ≤ 50): it moves into just one protective fund (from a list of bond and defensive-sector funds). It chooses the one that looks the most beaten-down lately, aiming for a short-term bounce. - It repeats this process and rebalances every day.
