A daily market-switching strategy that moves between cash-like T-bills, bullish Nasdaq, bearish Nasdaq, and long Treasuries based on whether the market looks overheated, washed out, or hostile to tech.

Each day, the strategy picks just one holding. It uses SPY (a fund tracking the broad U.S. stock market) as a market thermometer. If stocks look unusually overheated, it moves to BIL, a very short-term Treasury-bill fund that acts like parking in cash. If stocks look unusually beaten down, it buys TQQQ, an aggressive fund that rises about 3x as fast as the Nasdaq-100 on up days. If neither extreme is true, it compares tech strength (XLK) with KMLM, a managed-futures fund that often does better in non-stock market trends. If tech is stronger, it buys TQQQ. If not, it looks at KMLM’s recent trend: if KMLM is weakening, it buys TLT (long-term U.S. Treasury bonds); otherwise it buys SQQQ, an aggressive fund that profits when the Nasdaq-100 falls.

Regime-switching strategy pivots between cash, leveraged Nasdaq exposure, and Treasuries to chase tech gains and defend downturns. Out-of-sample: ~69% annualized return vs ~21% SPY, Calmar ~2.05, strong risk-adjusted edge.
