About

Aggressive, rules‑based risk‑on/risk‑off strategy. Chases tech and falling fear when conditions are good; shifts to managed‑futures, long/short, bonds, gold, or volatility hedges when stress rises. Uses simple thresholds (RSI, trends, credit) to move fast.
NutHow it works
Daily it reads the market’s weather: fear (VIX), interest‑rates (TLT trend), credit (JNK), and how hot/cold key sectors are. If calm and rate‑friendly, it goes on offense with fast funds (often TECL or SVIX). If stress shows, it flips to diversifiers (KMLM, long/short mix, strong USD) or safety (bonds, gold, anti‑beta, or volatility hedges like UVXY). It also buys short‑term pops after big dips. RSI is a 0–100 hot/cold gauge.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe 1.60 vs SPY 1.13, Calmar 3.50, and ~104% annualized returns. Regime-switching and hedging target higher risk-adjusted growth and diversification to beat the S&P while managing drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
