About
Three daily signals compare tech/SPY vs a defensive benchmark (KMLM). Each picks TQQQ (3× long Nasdaq) or PSQ/SQQQ (short Nasdaq, size set by SPY’s trend). The portfolio equally weights the three choices.
It runs 3 daily “votes.” Each vote picks offense (TQQQ = 3× long Nasdaq) or defense (PSQ = 1× short, or SQQQ = 3× short).
- Tools: Moving average = average price over X days. RSI = 0–100 heat score of recent gains. KMLM is a managed‑futures ETF used as a safety barometer; SPY = S&P 500; XLK = tech sector.
- Logic: If tech/SPY look stronger than KMLM (higher RSI), or if KMLM is weak (below its 20‑day avg), choose TQQQ; otherwise short via PSQ/SQQQ. If SPY is below its 200‑day avg, use the stronger short (SQQQ). The 3 picks are equally weighted.
Out-of-sample outperformance vs SPY: ~57% annualized return vs ~21%, Sharpe 1.26 vs 1.16, Calmar 1.72. A three-vote Nasdaq strategy offering growth with measured risk.
