About

Daily, equal‑sleeve system that flips between leveraged long tech (TQQQ) and short tech (SQQQ/PSQ). It uses KMLM’s trend and short‑term strength vs SPY/XLK as signals; SPY’s 200‑day trend decides whether shorts are 3x (SQQQ) or 1x (PSQ).
NutHow it works
Moving average = average price over N days. RSI = 0–100 score of recent up vs down days (higher = stronger). Tickers: TQQQ=3x up Nasdaq‑100; SQQQ=3x down; PSQ=1x down; SPY=S&P 500; XLK=tech; KMLM=managed‑futures ETF that often moves unlike stocks. 3 equal sleeves (daily): 1) If KMLM < 20d avg → TQQQ; else if SPY < 200d → SQQQ; else → PSQ. 2) If RSI10(XLK) > RSI10(KMLM) → TQQQ; else SQQQ/PSQ. 3) If RSI10(SPY) > RSI10(KMLM) → TQQQ; else SQQQ/PSQ.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy offers higher risk-adjusted returns than the S&P 500: Sharpe ~1.26 vs ~1.16, Calmar ~1.72, and ~57% annualized return vs ~21%, with beta ~0.56. Note larger drawdowns (~33% vs ~19%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
