About

A daily, all-in tech-strategy: if RSI(XLK,10) > RSI(KMLM,10) you go long SPYU; otherwise you go long TECS (3x tech inverse). It’s a binary, momentum-driven tech bet with full allocation to the chosen ETF each day.
NutHow it works
- Each day, evaluate two RSI signals over 10 days: RSI(XLK, 10) and RSI(KMLM, 10). - If RSI(XLK, 10) > RSI(KMLM, 10), the system buys SPYU (long tech) with full weight for that day. - If RSI(XLK, 10) <= RSI(KMLM, 10), the system buys TECS (tech bear 3x) with full weight for that day. - The allocation is 100% to the chosen asset (no blending) and is reset daily (daily rebalance). - The strategy focuses on technology exposure and replaces a broader tech benchmark with SPYU as the long instrument when the condition is met. - Risks include concentration risk, leverage decay/volatility in TECS, potential whipsaws from short RSI windows, and sensitivity to the RSI choice and proxies (XLK vs KMLM).
CheckmarkValue prop
Tech-momentum strategy offers higher out-of-sample returns (≈21.4% vs 20.1% for the S&P) with negative beta and positive alpha, delivering diversification. Note the larger drawdowns (≈53% vs 19%)—risk tolerance required.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
