A daily market-timing strategy that either owns a very concentrated Kinetics-like stock basket or moves into bearish hedges/cash when market conditions look overheated or risky.

This strategy has 2 moods: 1) when markets look stressed or washed out, it buys a concentrated basket that resembles the Kinetics Paradigm Fund’s biggest holdings—especially Texas Pacific Land and some bitcoin exposure. 2) when markets look too hot or risky, it shifts into hedges that profit if U.S. stocks or emerging markets fall, or into very short-term Treasuries.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers.
