This strategy first asks: “Is the U.S. stock market healthy or weak?” using SPY, a fund that tracks the S&P 500. If the market looks strong, it mostly bets on turbocharged tech funds like TQQQ, TECL, and SOXL. If things look overheated or dangerous, it can switch to crash hedges like UVXY or bearish funds that rise when stocks fall. If the market looks weak, it becomes defensive and may move into short-term bonds, Treasury funds, gold, the U.S. dollar, commodities, or inverse stock funds.
