About

Rules-based, multi-sleeve portfolio that rides tech uptrends, fades short-term extremes with volatility trades, and shifts to bonds/cash/gold when risk rises. Uses both trend and mean‑reversion signals with explicit VIX hedging.
NutHow it works
It splits money into sleeves: tech trades, bonds/cash, commodities, and “safety/anti‑beta.” - If markets trend calmly, it rides tech (often with leveraged ETFs). - If markets look overheated, it briefly buys “fear” (VIX funds). - If markets drop hard, it either buys the dip or moves to T‑Bills/bonds/gold. - Simple signals (heat/RSI, price vs average, drawdowns, tech vs staples) decide which sleeve is on.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy delivers stronger risk-adjusted returns than the S& P: Sharpe 1.99 vs 1.44, max drawdown 6.65% vs 18.76%, Calmar 2.89, with smoother gains and downside protection from diversified trend/volatility/defensive sleeves.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
