About

A tactical, multi‑asset strategy: ride tech in calm uptrends, stand aside or hedge in stress. Uses simple dials—trend (price vs average), RSI (hot/cold), and VIX (fear)—to rotate among TECL/TQQQ, BIL, bonds, gold, USD, and volatility hedges.
NutHow it works
Think of it as a market “weather system.” It splits money into growth, bonds, commodities/dollar, and safety/hedges. When stocks—especially tech—are calmly rising (price above its average and “RSI,” a 0‑100 hot/cold meter, is supportive), it owns fast tech funds like TECL/TQQQ. If markets are jumpy or drop fast, it moves to T‑bills (BIL), Treasuries (IEF), gold (GLD), the U.S. dollar (UUP/USDU), or buys “fear” (UVXY/VIXM) to hedge. It adapts daily to these checks.
CheckmarkValue prop
Superior risk-adjusted performance vs the S&P 500: higher out-of-sample Sharpe (~2.0 vs ~1.4), far smaller max drawdown (~6.6% vs ~18.8%), and robust high-teen returns, aided by a tech tilt and disciplined hedging.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
