About

A fast, high‑risk semiconductor strategy. It adapts to volatility, buys 3x long chips after sharp down days, shorts 3x after sharp up days, adds hedges (Treasuries/dollar/volatility), and uses trend/momentum rules when moves are small.
NutHow it works
K Wave V4 tactically trades semiconductors. It first gauges market turbulence with UVXY (a volatility fund). Then it watches SMH (chip ETF): big 1‑day drops → buy SOXL (3x long chips) with a 30% hedge (Treasuries/dollar/volatility funds); big pops → buy SOXS (3x short) with some SHY. If moves are small, it uses trend rules (incl. SPY 200‑day) and may hold a basket of top chip stocks. Very high risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Tap into outsized semis upside: oos annualized return about 63% vs S&P 23%, aided by hedges and volatility-regime rules that capture fast chip moves. Higher upside potential, but expect larger drawdowns in stressed markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
