About

Daily, it uses trend and “hot/ cold” gauges: in uptrends, it hedges with VIXY when markets look overheated; otherwise holds DIA. In downtrends, it buys TECL on deep tech oversold, else holds DIA if stable or BTAL if weak.
NutHow it works
Each day: 1) If SPY is above its 200‑day average (uptrend), check a 10‑day “hotness” score (RSI, 0–100). If SPY/QQQ/XLK/IYY/VTV/XLP/XLF/VOX is very hot (≈≥79), buy VIXY (volatility). Otherwise hold DIA (Dow blue‑chips). 2) If not in uptrend: if TQQQ’s RSI <30, buy TECL (3× tech bounce). Else if SPY > 30‑day avg, hold DIA; otherwise hold BTAL (defensive anti‑beta).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~52% annualized return vs ~22% for the S&P, Calmar 2.02, Sharpe 1.18. A daily, trend-driven, volatility-hedged strategy aiming for higher upside with disciplined risk and drawdown control.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
