About

Simple core, wild tactical sleeve: 70% in cash‑like Treasuries (SHV); 30% flips daily—own leveraged tech/semis in strong uptrends or on oversold dips, otherwise move to bonds or inverse/volatility hedges in downtrends. Very high risk in the 30% sleeve.
NutHow it works
70% sits in SHV (cash‑like T‑bills). The other 30% rotates daily based on trend and “overbought/oversold” gauges: if the S&P 500 is in a strong uptrend, it buys aggressive tech funds (SOXL=3x semis, TQQQ=3x Nasdaq‑100, TECL=3x tech, plus SVXY=short VIX). If trend is weak but the Nasdaq looks washed out (RSI<30), it still buys that basket; otherwise it parks in IEI (3–7Y Treasuries). In clear downtrends it shifts to hedges: SQQQ/TECS/SOXS (3x inverse tech/QQQ/semis) or UVXY (long VIX), sometimes mixing in IEI/XLP. Moving averages = multi‑week/month trend lines. RSI is a 0–100 “heat” gauge; under 30 means oversold.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, targets much higher growth (~60.8% annualized vs SPY ~23.2%), with Calmar ~1.36. A 70% cash core + dynamic leveraged tech sleeve offers outsized upside with hedges—but higher drawdowns and complexity than SPY.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
