About

A daily, tactical Nasdaq‑focused plan: buy QQQ in uptrends, move to T‑Bills when trends weaken, buy 2x QQQ after sharp selloffs, and pair cash with a VIX fund when the market looks overheated.
NutHow it works
Every day it checks QQQ (Nasdaq‑100). RSI = a short‑term “heat gauge”: very hot (>79) → go defensive: 50% BIL (T‑Bills) + 50% VIXY (a fund that jumps when fear/volatility spikes). Very washed‑out (<29.5) → buy QLD (2x QQQ) for a rebound. Otherwise it looks at SPY’s trend: price above its 200‑day (or at least its 30‑day) average → own QQQ; if not → sit in BIL.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this Nasdaq-tilt strategy delivers higher upside and solid risk-adjusted performance vs the S&P 500: ~32.6% annualized return vs ~27.0%, Sharpe ≈ 2.06, Calmar ≈ 4.14. Tactical signals and hedges target growth with risk control.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
