About

A levered, rules‑based strategy. A bond‑vs‑cash canary decides between aggressive tech, a stock/bond barbell, short‑term RSI trades (volatility or stocks), or the strongest safe‑haven trio. High risk; uses 2–3× ETFs.
NutHow it works
1) Check a canary: 60‑day returns of BND (US bonds) vs BIL (T‑bills/cash). If bonds beat cash, conditions look calmer. 2) Calm: check VWO (emerging‑markets) 1‑yr trend. If up, buy TQQQ (3× Nasdaq tech). If not, split UPRO (3× S&P 500) and TMF (3× long Treasuries). 3) Warning (bonds ≤ cash): use RSI(10) on SPY—a 0–100 “hot/cold” gauge. If very hot (>75), buy UVXY (volatility spike play). If very cold (<30), buy UPRO. Otherwise hold the top 3 by 30‑day return of UUP (US dollar), TMF, DBC (commodities), UGL (2× gold), IEO (oil & gas stocks), XLU (utilities).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: 29.24% annualized return vs 19.30% for the S&P, driven by targeted 2-3x levered bets and a dynamic risk gate. Higher growth potential, but expect more volatility and drawdowns (up to ~50%).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
