About

A rules-based strategy that seeks extra upside with leveraged funds when conditions are favorable, and shifts to hedges or defensive assets when warning signals appear. It uses bond-vs-cash, long-term trend, and short-term “hot/cold” readings to switch gears.
NutHow it works
1) Warning light: if a broad bond fund beat T‑bills over ~60 days, no warning; else warning on. 2) No warning: check emerging‑markets’ 1‑yr trend. If strong, hold a 3x Nasdaq fund; if not, split 50/50 between a 3x S&P 500 fund and a 3x long‑Treasury fund. 3) Warning: use a 10‑day RSI (a short‑term “hot/cold” meter). If very hot, use a leveraged VIX hedge; if very cold, buy the 3x S&P 500 dip; else own the top 3 (30‑day) from: dollar, long Treasuries, commodities, gold, energy, utilities. Rebalance on 5% drift.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~28.6% annualized vs ~19.5% for the S&P, backed by adaptive leverage and hedges. Seeks higher long-run gains through dynamic risk control, though it carries larger drawdowns in down markets.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
