About

A momentum-driven, canary-guided strategy that uses leverage to chase yield in favorable markets and rotates to hedges and safe havens during stress to reduce levered drawdowns.
NutHow it works
Starts in a default mode with moderate risk exposure. Watches for early warning canary signals and short-term RSI/timing signals. If signals say the market looks friendly, it switches to leveraged stock exposure (e.g., 3x Nasdaq/S&P). If signals warn of stress, it rotates into hedges and safe-haven assets (gold, currencies, Treasuries, commodities). A small set of assets is prioritized each cycle using momentum screens to pick the strongest safe havens. A second variant shifts tax structure and asset choices but follows the same risk-on/risk-off logic.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~39.7% annualized return vs SPY ~22.7%, driven by selective leverage in good markets and rapid hedging in stress. Canary/RSI timing targets higher upside with balanced risk (Calmar ~0.69).

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
