About

A rules‑driven, two‑mode approach: in calm times it uses leveraged equity funds for growth; when conditions weaken, an RSI “hot/cold” check either hedges with volatility or rotates into the strongest safe‑havens to limit drawdowns.
NutHow it works
Traffic‑light rules. 1) Health check: If inflation‑protected Treasuries (TIP) are up over ~3 months, go on offense: if the 1‑yr trend is strong, buy TQQQ (3× Nasdaq); otherwise split QLD (2× Nasdaq) and SSO (2× S&P). 2) Warning: If TIP is weak, use an RSI “hot/cold” gauge on SPY: >75 → VXX (volatility hedge); <30 → buy the most oversold of UPRO (3× S&P), TECL (3× Tech), or SHY (1–3y Treasuries); else hold the 3 strongest safe‑havens (TMF=long Treasuries, PDBC=commodities, GLD=gold, IEO=oil & gas, XLU=utilities, USDU=US dollar).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: ~39.7% annualized return vs SPX ~22.7%. Regime switching and hedges target upside in growth regimes while trying to curb losses in stress. Caution: drawdowns can be larger in some periods.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
