About
Daily, trend-filtered allocation: up-market -> 5-tech/semis with inverse-vol weights; down-market -> short-term Treasuries (BIL); cash considered in weighting; rebalance daily.
Each day, check if QQQ’s current price is above its 200-day moving average. If yes, you buy 5 stocks (NVDA, TSM, PLTR, ANET, AVGO) and divide your money among them using weights that give more money to the calmer stocks (inverse-volatility over the last 20 trading days). If no, you allocate to BIL (short-term U.S. Treasuries) instead. A separate cash-adjustment rule (wt-cash-equal) indicates cash is part of the total allocation and kept in balance with the assets, and the whole portfolio is rebalanced daily. In plain terms: bullish signals lead to a diversified, lower-volatility tech/semi basket with volatility-based weights; bearish signals lead to a safe, short-term-bond position to preserve capital.
Out-of-sample results show higher risk-adjusted returns and smaller drawdowns than the S&P 500, via trend-driven, low-vol tech exposure and safe Treasuries in pullbacks.
