About

A rules-based, JEPQ-centered strategy. In uptrends it holds JEPQ unless markets run too hot, then shifts to Treasuries. In downtrends it defends with Treasuries, cash, or short Nasdaq; a smaller sleeve tactically uses leveraged long/short Nasdaq and semis.
NutHow it works
1) Big trend check: Is the S&P 500 above its 200‑day average? If yes, hold JEPQ unless stocks look “too hot,” then park in long‑term Treasuries (TLT). If no, flip defensive: short QQQ, own Treasuries, or step to cash; sometimes buy a quick rebound with 2x QQQ (QLD). RSI = a 0–100 “speedometer”: >80 = too hot, <30 = too cold. Moving average = typical price over X days.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample ~23%/yr upside with a regime-driven risk system. Core income tilt (JEPQ/JEPI) plus Treasuries hedges and a tactical sleeve diversify risk and adapt to hot markets and downturns beyond the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
