About

A daily, K‑1‑free, tech‑tilted strategy that mostly holds JEPQ for income, but switches fast to inverse ETFs, cash-like T‑bills, or volatility hedges when signals say the Nasdaq is too hot, too weak, or fear is spiking. Bond and volatility cues guide offense vs defense.
NutHow it works
Every day it reads a few “health gauges”: trend (price vs its 200‑day average), momentum heat (RSI, a 0–100 hot/cold score), bond trend, and volatility (VIX funds). If tech looks healthy, it holds JEPQ (Nasdaq + options income) or sometimes TQQQ (3x). If overheated/weak, it flips to PSQ/SQQQ (inverse), parks in T‑bills (SGOV), and can add VXX/UVXY in panics.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample: ~33.2% annualized return vs SPY’s ~23.4%, Calmar ~1.57, and beta ~0.82. This Nasdaq‑tilted, rule-based strategy uses hedges and cash buffers to lift upside while reducing downside risk relative to the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
