About

A simple monthly mix: 80% in income-focused stocks (JEPI) and a diversifier (DBMF), plus a 20% switch that adds leveraged tech exposure (TQQQ) only when the Nasdaq trend is up; otherwise it stays in the core funds.
NutHow it works
Each month: 40% goes to JEPI (income-focused US stocks using options) and 40% to DBMF (managed-futures diversifier). The last 20% depends on trend: if the Nasdaq-100 (QQQ) is in an uptrend (short-term average > long-term), it goes to TQQQ (3x Nasdaq). If not, that 20% is split back into JEPI and DBMF.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample risk-adjusted strength: Sharpe ~1.42, Calmar ~1.32, max drawdown ~16.7% vs SPY ~18.8%. Core 80% income/diversifier with a disciplined 20% tech tilt on Nasdaq uptrends—steadier growth versus the S&P 500.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
