About
A daily, rules‑based plan that rides big‑tech uptrends with TQQQ, flips to SQQQ or UVXY when markets look stretched, and parks in BSV when volatility spikes—using the S&P 500’s 200‑day average and short‑term “heat” signals to switch offense/defense.
Tickers: TQQQ=3x Nasdaq‑100; SQQQ=3x inverse; SPY=S&P 500; UVXY=volatility; BSV=short‑term bonds.
When SPY is above its 200‑day average (uptrend), it mostly holds TQQQ. If prices look “too hot” (RSI=a short‑term heat score) it shifts to UVXY/SQQQ, or to BSV if swings spike. After big 5‑day drops it buys TQQQ only if very oversold; else SQQQ. When SPY is below its 200‑day average it favors SQQQ/UVXY/BSV and only buys TQQQ for sharp bounces.
Out-of-sample, this tactical Nasdaq-100 strategy delivers higher risk-adjusted returns than the S&P 500, with Sharpe ~1.62 vs 1.46 and Calmar ~2.17, by riding tech uptrends and smart hedging—offering potentially stronger growth with controlled risk.
