About

Aggressive, rules-based TQQQ strategy: buy tech in uptrends, cut risk when overheated or weakening, sometimes short or move to cash/bonds. Uses trend lines, RSI, recent return, volatility and drawdown filters. Daily trades. High risk.
NutHow it works
Plain English: It tries to ride tech booms and step aside when risk rises. Trend = price vs 15/50/100/200‑day averages. RSI = 0–100 “hot/cold” score (>80 too hot, <30 washed‑out). In uptrends it holds TQQQ (3× Nasdaq). If overheated or breaking down, it flips to SH/SQQQ (inverse), TLT (Treasuries) or BIL (T‑Bills). Extra filters favor recent winners with lower drawdowns/vol. Rebalances daily.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample results show the strategy underperforming the S&P 500: negative annualized return and larger drawdowns. It’s a high-risk tech sleeve best used as diversification, not a core SPY replacement.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
