About
Daily rules aim to ride tech uptrends (mainly TQQQ) and cut risk fast when markets overheat or weaken. Uses trend (moving averages) and “hot/cold” gauges (RSI) to rotate among 3× bulls, inverse QQQ, Treasuries, or cash, plus a small ‘dice roll’ blend for stability.
- Trend check: If SPY > 200‑day avg (uptrend), own TQQQ (3× Nasdaq); else go defensive.
- RSI (a hot/cold gauge): too hot (~80) → brief UVXY/VIXY (“fear” funds); very cold (~30) → buy dips via TECL/SOXL/UPRO (3× tech/semis/S&P).
- Safety: if TQQQ breaks trend or QQQ −12% in 60d → switch to SQQQ/PSQ (inverse QQQ), TLT/IEF (Treasuries), or BIL (T‑bills).
- “Dice rolls” blend recent winners with steadier picks. Leveraged ETFs; expect big swings.
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe 1.59 vs 1.30, alpha 0.29, Calmar 2.48; annualized return ~84.6% vs SPY ~23.7%. Tech-led trend strategy with quick hedges aims for bigger upside with disciplined risk vs the S&P 500.
