An aggressive, rules-based strategy that chases upside in leveraged tech funds when conditions are favorable, but shifts into defensive or bearish holdings when markets look overheated or weak.

This strategy is an aggressive market-timing system. It mainly tries to own leveraged Nasdaq/tech funds like TQQQ, TECL, or SOXL when the market looks strong. If markets look overheated, weak, or panicky, it can quickly switch into bearish funds, Treasury bond funds, the U.S. dollar, low-volatility stocks, or volatility funds. It uses short-term “heat checks” and trend tests to decide whether to press on offense, buy a dip, or move into defense.

Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
