About

A fast, rules-based, very aggressive strategy: ride 3x tech in uptrends, but after extreme moves or weak trends, rotate into hedges, inverse ETFs, bonds, the dollar, cash-like T‑bills, or gold. Trend-following with mean‑reversion brakes.
NutHow it works
It asks: Is QQQ strong? Uses RSI (a 0–100 “hot/cold” gauge) and 200‑day trends. If yes: mostly holds TQQQ (3x Nasdaq). After blow‑offs (very high RSI or huge 1–5d jumps) it briefly flips to hedges like UVXY or SQQQ; a bond (TLT/TMF/TMV) overlay tilts risk; if shaky, park in T‑Bills (BIL). If no: a “buy dips/sell rips” engine rotates among TQQQ/TECL/SOXL (bull tech), SQQQ/SOXS (inverse), cash‑like bonds (BSV/SHY/STIP/SHV), plus VIX, USD (UUP/UDN), sometimes gold (UGL).
CheckmarkValue prop
An aggressive, rules-based strategy riding tech upside with dynamic hedges. Out-of-sample return ~73.7% vs S&P ~21.5%, Calmar ~1.70. Higher upside with solid risk-adjusted profile, but expect larger drawdowns in downturns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
