About

Risk-on/risk-off timer: if short-term “overbought” signals flash across major ETFs, it buys UVXY (a volatility spike hedge). Otherwise it switches between leveraged Nasdaq-100 longs (TQQQ/QLD) and shorts (PSQ/SQQQ) using 200‑day trends and return thresholds.
NutHow it works
It watches several market “thermometers” (SPY, Nasdaq and sector funds like XLP, XLY, VOX, growth/value VOOG/VOOV, plus leveraged TQQQ/TECL/FAS). If the 10‑day RSI—a simple heat gauge of a rapid rise—is very high (~79–80), it moves 100% into UVXY, a fund that jumps when markets suddenly drop. If not overheated, it times the Nasdaq‑100: after a ~10%+ drawdown it rides TQQQ/QLD until gains get big, then flips to PSQ/SQQQ; without a recent drop it rides TQQQ unless gains > ~15%, then hedges. Very aggressive.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy shows superior risk-adjusted upside vs the S&P 500: oos Sharpe ~1.93, Calmar ~4.57, and ~192% annualized return, aided by Nasdaq-100 exposure and a crash hedge with UVXY. Higher volatility, but bigger upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
