About

When markets get short‑term “too hot,” jump to UVXY (volatility). Otherwise trade the Nasdaq 100 using 200‑day trend and gain thresholds—flip between leveraged long (TQQQ/QLD) and short (PSQ/SQQQ). Contrarian at extremes, trend‑aware elsewhere.
NutHow it works
Checks short-term heat. If several major indexes/sectors look overbought on RSI (0–100 gauge of recent speed; >~80 = too hot), it buys UVXY, a volatility fund that jumps on pullbacks but decays if held. Otherwise it times the Nasdaq 100: after a recent medium drop it uses the 200d average and 200d gains to pick leveraged long (TQQQ/QLD) or short (PSQ/SQQQ). If no drop, stay long unless gains are already large, then hedge/short.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: annualized return ~199% vs SPY ~16.8%, Sharpe ~2.01 vs ~0.97, Calmar ~4.74. Higher upside with controlled risk; expect larger drawdowns (~42% vs ~19%) during crises, but far stronger risk-adjusted rewards.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
