About

A rules-based swing strategy: chase tech uptrends with leveraged QQQ funds, but when many market gauges look overheated short‑term, flip into UVXY. After selloffs, use trend and recent gains to choose between 3x, 2x, plain QQQ, or T‑Bills.
NutHow it works
First, it asks: are markets very “hot” short‑term? If any of several big ETFs look overheated on a 10‑day RSI, it moves 100% into UVXY (a volatility fund that can pop if stocks drop). If not, it rides QQQ: usually 3x (TQQQ), but dials down to 2x (QLD) as gains grow or after a recovery. If a crash happened and recovery lags, it may park in T‑Bills (BIL).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this strategy outperforms the S&P on risk-adjusted terms: oos Sharpe ~1.93 vs 0.96, Calmar ~4.11, alpha ~0.89%, and ~170% annualized return across 514 days. Dynamic hedges and tech leverage aim to capture upside and curb drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
