About

A rules‑based global‑macro system that flips between crash‑hedging (VIX) and a diversified basket of long/short trades (USD vs euro/yen, gold, oil, Bitcoin; tech vs volatility). Decisions use short‑term “heat” scores and 2x ETFs. High risk.
NutHow it works
First it asks: Is fear spiking? It uses a 0–100 “heat” score (RSI) of volatility and several markets. If too “hot,” it buys stock‑market volatility (VIX funds) and sometimes gold. If not, it runs many small long/short trades: USD vs euro/yen, USD vs gold/oil/Bitcoin, and tech vs volatility. It picks sides by short‑term strength of broad bond/market funds, then uses 2x ETFs to amplify. High risk.
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample, this global macro strategy shows superior risk-adjusted performance vs the S&P 500: Sharpe 3.26 vs 1.54, max drawdown 1.34% vs 5.07%, and strong Calmar, with diversified crash-hedges for tighter downside protection and smoother upside.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
