About

A contrarian, rules‑based switcher: buy 3× tech on washouts, buy volatility when markets look too hot, flip to 3× semis if fear is overbought, else hold a low‑vol basket of nine well‑known stocks or sit in T‑Bills for safety.
NutHow it works
Checks a 0–100 “speed gauge” (RSI) on a few funds. - If tech looks washed out (low RSI on TQQQ), buy TECL (3× tech) for a bounce. - If markets/sectors look overheated (high RSI on TQQQ/value/communications/consumer/financials), buy UVIX/VIXY (funds that jump when fear rises). - If fear is overheated (high RSI on UVXY), buy SOXL (3× semis). - Else: if the Nasdaq‑100 is below its 18‑day average, hold 9 big stocks sized so calmer ones get more; otherwise sit in T‑Bills (BIL). Uses very volatile funds; expect big swings.
CheckmarkValue prop
Adds contrarian, risk-managed exposure with volatility hedges and a low market beta (~0.29). Out-of-sample: ~4.4% annualized return, Calmar 0.41, max drawdown 10.9%. A diversification tool to protect in regime shifts and complement SPY.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
