About

Daily, it chooses the stronger trend between stocks (SPY) and corporate bonds (LQD). It mostly rides TQQQ (3x Nasdaq). If momentum is too hot, it switches to UVXY (volatility). If weak, it buys dips or shifts to SQQQ (inverse) or BSV (bonds). High risk.
NutHow it works
Each day it picks the stronger long‑term trend: U.S. stocks (SPY) or corporate bonds (LQD) using a 200‑day average (a long‑term trend line). Then it uses simple signals: RSI (a 0–100 heat gauge; >70=hot, <30=cold) and 20‑/200‑day trends. In strong trends it rides TQQQ (3x Nasdaq). If things look too hot, it briefly flips to UVXY (volatility). In weak trends it may buy dips (TECL/SPXL) or move to SQQQ or short‑term bonds (BSV).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample annualized return ~160% vs SPY ~39%, with a Calmar ~43. This signals dramatically higher risk-adjusted gains from regime-driven momentum/rotation, offering potential upside not seen in a vanilla S&P 500 approach.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
