About

Monthly, inverse‑volatility mix of 3× U.S. equity and tech/semiconductor ETFs; calmer funds get more weight. Optional gold can cut drawdowns, at some cost to returns.
NutHow it works
Each month, it splits money across 5 funds that try to move about 3× the daily change of major U.S. stock indexes: UPRO (S&P 500), TQQQ (Nasdaq‑100), UDOW (Dow 30), TECL (Technology sector), SOXL (Semiconductors). It looks at the last 25 trading days: the bumpier a fund’s ride, the smaller its share. Optionally adding gold (UGL) can soften big drops but may trim returns.
CheckmarkValue prop
Prospective edge: out-of-sample annualized return ~45% vs SPY ~20%, driven by volatility-weighted, leveraged US equity exposure (tech tilt). Expect larger drawdowns (~54% vs ~19%), but optional gold can dampen risk.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
