A defensive Ether strategy that uses stock-market stress signals as a gatekeeper: own ETH only in a healthy uptrend, switch to cash-like bonds when conditions weaken, and occasionally trade leveraged tech or volatility during extremes.

This strategy checks the stock market first, then decides whether it is safe to own Ether. If tech stocks look suddenly beaten down, it buys a leveraged technology fund. If the stock market looks overheated, it buys a volatility fund that can rise when markets panic. Only when those warning signals are calm does it consider Ether. It buys Ether only if Ether’s short-term trend is stronger than its longer-term trend. Otherwise it moves to very short-term U.S. Treasury bonds (a cash-like parking spot).
