About

A daily, semiconductor‑first tactic that reads the bond market to decide: go 3x long semis (SOXL), hide in short‑term Treasuries (SHY), short tech (SOXS/SQQQ), or briefly rotate into a single defensive/metal/Treasury/healthcare/staples pick. Very volatile.
NutHow it works
Daily: 1) If inflation‑protected bonds (VTIP) are strong and trending up, buy ONE defensive/quality fund (gold/silver/long‑Treasuries/healthcare/staples) that looks most “beaten‑down” (low short‑term heat/RSI). 2) Otherwise, use bond strength to flip between: SOXL (3x long semis), SHY (cash‑like), or hedges (SOXS/SQQQ). Avoid buying if the S&P looks too hot (very high RSI).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: far higher upside than the S&P with disciplined risk controls. OOS annualized return ~213% vs ~28% for SPY; Calmar ~6.61; levered semis with bond hedges. Higher volatility, but superior risk-adjusted rewards.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
