About

A daily, QQQ‑driven, high‑risk strategy. When QQQ looks overheated it shifts to VIXY (volatility). When it looks washed out it goes 3× long tech (TQQQ/TECL). Otherwise it trend‑follows with QLD/QQQ/PSQ based on moving averages.
NutHow it works
Each day it watches QQQ (Nasdaq‑100). 1) If QQQ looks very “hot” by RSI—a 0–100 gauge of recent buying—on any of several lookbacks, it moves to VIXY (a volatility fund that jumps when markets drop). 2) If QQQ looks very “cold” (RSI low), it buys 3× tech bulls (TQQQ, TECL). 3) Otherwise it follows trend: above 150‑day average price → QLD (2×); above 30‑day average price → QQQ; else PSQ (inverse).
CheckmarkValue prop
Out-of-sample edge: Sharpe 1.37; Calmar 3.01; annualized return 74.5% vs S&P 17.6%; max drawdown 24.8% vs 18.8%. A tech/volatility overlay targets outsized, risk-adjusted growth, even with higher drawdowns.

FAQ

A Composer symphony is an automated trading strategy that executes trades based on parameters of your choice. Some symphonies are similar to holding one ETF in normal conditions and rotating to a different ETF when market conditions shift, for example a 5% drop in the S&P 500, while others use complex rules with dozens of triggers. However, complex doesn’t always mean better. A simple, well-structured symphony can be just as effective as an intricate one. Learn more about how symphonies work here.
